There are 4 queen cards in a deck, the queen of hearts, queen of clubs, queen of diamonds and queen of spades. Also, there are a total of 52 cards in a dec; therefore, the probability of getting a queen card is

(4)/(52)

which simplifies to (divide both the numerator and the denominator by 4)

(4)/(52)\rightarrow(1)/(13)

Hence, the probability of getting queen cards is 1/13.
