Step-by-step explanation:
\begin{gathered} 4)\text{ Given:} \\ 57.5\text{ }/\text{ 2.5} \end{gathered}

Each of the numbers have one decimal place. To make the division easy, we will remove the decimal points by muliplying both numerator and denominator by 10:

\begin{gathered} (57.5)/(2.5)\text{ = }(57.5)/(2.5)\text{ }*(10)/(10) \\ \text{ }(57.5)/(2.5)\text{ = }(575)/(25) \\ \text{Note: since we aremutlipying the denominator and numerator by same number. it is the same as multiplying by 1} \\ (575)/(25)\text{ = }(5(115))/(5(5)) \\ 5\text{ cancels out} \\ =\text{ }(115)/(5) \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} (115)/(5)\text{ = }(5(23))/(5) \\ 5\text{ cancels out} \\ =\text{ 23} \end{gathered}
