According to Newton's gravitational law, any particle of matter in the universe attracts any other with a force varying directly as the product of their masses and inversely as the square of of the distance between them. This means that if we increase or decrease the mass of either objects, the amount force of gravity will be reduced. Also, if we increase or decrease the distance between them, the amount of force would also change. Thus, the two ways you can change the amount of force (gravity) that objects experience are

1) Increase or decrease the mass of either object.

2)Increase or decrease the distance between them.
