As the probability is about the people who is 21 or female, we have to know how many of these we have.

• People with age 21

1679+1627=3306

• Female

4517+1553+1627=7697

Now, we have to know the total data:

• Total

4746+4517+1625+1553+1679+1627=15747

Finally, to get the probability, we have to divide the data we want by the total data.

P=((3306+7697-1627))/(15747)
P=(9376)/(15747)
P=(9376)/(15747)

Answer:

P=(9376)/(15747)\approx0.595
