Given

The perimeter of triangle is P = 33 inches.

The perimeter of triangle is equal to sum of all the side of triangle.

Determine the sum of sides to obtain the perimeter of triangle.

\begin{gathered} P=(2x+3)+(2x+3)+(2x-3) \\ =6x+3 \end{gathered}

The value of perimeter is 33 inches.

Substitute 33 for P in the equation of perimeter to obtain the value of x.

\begin{gathered} 33=6x+3 \\ 6x=33-3 \\ x=(30)/(6) \\ =5 \end{gathered}

So, the value of x is 5 inches.
