Solution

We need to convert ft to inches first like this:


12ft\cdot(12in)/(1ft)=144in

For this case we can solve the problem with the following proportion:


(144in)/(32in)=(x)/(1in)

So then the model present the following size:


x=(144)/(32)=4.5in
