We need to graph the function:

g(x)=\cos x-4

In order to do so, we can identify some points (x, g(x)), then plot and join them, drawing a wave.

We have:

\begin{gathered} g(-\pi)=\cos(-\pi)-4=-1-4=-5 \\ \\ g(-(\pi)/(2))=\cos(-(\pi)/(2))-4=0-4=-4 \\ \\ g(0)=\cos(0)-4=1-4=-3 \\ \\ g((\pi)/(2))=\cos(\pi\/2)-4=0-4=-4 \\ \\ g(\pi)=\cos(\pi)-4=-1-4=-5 \end{gathered}

Then, graphing g(x), we obtain:
