Answer:

m = 4

m = -14

Explanation:

here's your solution

=> 3m^2 + 30m - 168

=> firstly we will make it in simplest form

=> take 3 common

=> 3(m^2 + 10m - 56)

=> we get , (m^2 + 10m - 56)

=> now, factories it by using middle term split

=> m^2 + 14m - 4m - 56

=> now take common

=> m(m + 14) - 4(m + 14)

=> (m - 4) (m + 14)

=> m - 4 = 0

=> m= 4

=> (m+14) =0

=> m = -14

Explanation:

On simplifying its

M2 + 10m - 56 = 0.......... (divide both side by 3)

M2 - 4m + 14m - 56=0

M(M-4) + 14(m-4) =0

(M+14) + (m-4)=0

M =4, - 14.

If the condition is given that you cannot put m's value negative. Than the answer is M=5....
