Part AIf the amount of carbon dioxide DECREASED in the environment how would this affect the overall growth of the plants? My answer: In the hypothetical extreme case that the CO2 (carbon dioxide) decreased so much that was almost over, it would affect plants negatively because this molecule it's necessary for them to do photosynthesis, the process that allows them to produce energy to stay alive, and thus grow and do all the processes living organism do.Part BHow could you improve the validity of this experiment?

The necessity of CO2 for plants can be easily checked by placing a group of plants in CO2-free conditions. One way would be through gas chambers in which all air is removed and only O2 is injected. In the long run, slower growth should be observed in those plants that do not have CO2 since this molecule is necessary for the production of sugars.
