We were given a right triangle with a known angle of 58 degrees and the closes side to this angle is 30 mm. We need to find the value of the hypothenuse, therefore we must use the cosine relation, which is given below:

\begin{gathered} \cos (58)=(30)/(x) \\ 0.53=(30)/(x) \\ 0.53\cdot x=30 \\ x=(30)/(0.53)=56.6 \end{gathered}

The value of x is 56.6
