We first have to figure out x, then find the measure of each angle.

When 2 angles are complementary, they add up to 90.

Thus, we can say:

x - 10 + 4x - 10 = 90

Solving this for x:

5x - 20 = 90

5x = 90 + 20

5x = 110

x = 22

Now,

First angle UVW is x - 10, so, 22 - 10 = 12 degrees

Second angle XYZ is 4x - 10 = 4(22) - 10 = 78 degrees
