\begin{gathered} PT=3x+5 \\ TQ=5x-5 \\ 3x+5=5x-5 \\ 3x-5x=-5-5 \\ -2x=-10 \\ x=(-10)/(-2) \\ x=5 \\ PT=2(3x+5)=2(15+5)=40 \end{gathered}
