Solution

From the attached graph

Let the equation be y = kx + b

Picking two possible points on the graph

when x = 1 , y =4

when x = 2, y = 1

Therefore

\begin{gathered} y=4,x=1 \\ 4=1k+b \\ 4=k+b-----(1) \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} y=1,x=2 \\ 1=2k+b \\ b=1-2k........(2) \end{gathered}

Sub the value of b

\begin{gathered} 4=k+b \\ 4=k+1-2k \\ 4=-k+1 \\ k=1-4 \\ k=-3 \end{gathered}

then the value of k will be

\begin{gathered} b=1-2k \\ b=1-2(-3) \\ b=1+6 \\ b=7 \end{gathered}

Therefore the equation of the inequality graph is

y\ge-3x+7
