First, we can count the number of streets from the airport to the Convention Center:

• From the image, we can count ,6, streets.

Then, the number of streets from the Convention Center to the City Hall:

• From the image, we can count ,10, streets.

Now, since the segment from the Airport to the City Hall form the hypotenuse (h) of the right triangle with legs 6 * 0.24 miles and 10 * 0.24 miles, we can write:

h² = (6*0.24)² + (10*0.24)²

h² = 1.44² + 2.4²

h² = 2.0736 + 5.76

h² = 7.8336

h ≅ 2.799

Therefore, the distance of a trip from the airport to the city hall is approximately 2.80 miles.
