To find the slope we must reorganize the terms

f(x) a function that depends on x

So we need to find y(x)

5x+2y=6

2y= 6-5x

y = (-5/2) x + 6/2

y = (-5/2) x + 3

the slope (m) in a linear equation y=mx+b

the slope is m= -5/2
