The question is what rational number for x would make

(3x+15)/(6-x)\text{ = 0}

We have

\begin{gathered} (3x+15)/(6-x)=0 \\ \text{the numerator must be zero, for this to be zero., so} \\ 3x+15=0 \\ 3x=-15 \\ x=(-15)/(3)=-5 \end{gathered}

So, x = -5 would make the expression zero.

Option B
