A lurking variable is is a variable that is not measured in the study. It is variable that greatly affects the results or the correlation in a graph.

Population of the city cannot be a variable because it has a definite or 1 measurement in a study which is cannot have different values

Amount of time it takes to get to work, this is also not a variable because this can be constant for each residents in the city

Age of residents, this data can be expressed as a range which is most likely to be a lurking variable. Because in each data of age, or in every age of the residents, there can be have different data of values for the graph.

So the answer is Age of residents
