Plasmodial slime mold is an example of an multinucleated cell. If you were to View under a microscope you would notice a huge mass whit multiple nuclei. what part of the cell cycle is skipped in the formation of the cell?

The process of cytokinesis, which is present in the cell cycle of other organim, is not present in Plasmodial slime mold's cell cycle. Cytokinesis in other organisms pulls newly-divided cells apart. In Plasmodial slime mold cell cycle, a coenocyte which is its resulting structure, is created by many nuclear divisions without the presence of cytokinesis. In other cases, the resulting structure is called a syncytium which is created by the fusion of cells after division.
