From the figure shown we can say that:

- A rectangular prism has 6 faces.

- A rectangular prism has 8 vertices or 8 corners.

- F (faces) + V (vertices) = 6 + 8 = 14.

- A rectangular prism has 12 edges.

The number of edges (space1) is 2 (space 2) less (space 3) than the sum of faces and vertices (space 4).
