Explanation:

f(x) = 4x + 6

g(x) = 4x² + 1

Remember that ☞ gof(4) = g( f(4) )

= 4(4x + 6)² + 1

= 4(4.4 + 6)² + 1

= 4(16 + 6)² + 1

= 4(22)² + 1

= 4(484) + 1

= 1.936 + 1

= 1.937

So, gof(4) = 1.937

Answer:

g(f(4)) = ?

f(x) = 4x +6

f(4) = 4(4) + 6

f(4) = 16 + 6

f(4) = 22

g(22) = 4(22)^2 + 1

g(22) = 4(484) + 1

g(22) = 1936 + 1

g(22) = 1937

g(f(4)) = 1937
