Given:

shap of runaway is rectangle that mean area of rectangle is :


\text{Area}=\text{length}*\text{width}

The width of rectangle is 170 feet

Area of rectangle is 2057000

put all give data is formula of area then:


\begin{gathered} \text{Area=length}*\text{width} \\ 2057000=\text{length}*170 \\ \text{length}=(2057000)/(170) \\ \text{length}=12100 \end{gathered}

And length in ft that mean runway is 12100 ft long.
