philip and his two brothers went to the cinema. They spent $118.75 at the cafeteria. 1 juice = $6.75, 1 fry = $12.50, 1 slice of pizza = $15.25. If each boy ordered one juice, determine how many fries and pizza slices were bought.

Given that philip and his two brothers went to the cinema and spent $118.75 at the cafeteria, 1 juice = $6.75, 1 fry = $12.50, 1 slice of pizza = $15.25.

If each boy ordered one juice spending will be $20.25.

If everyone bought both fries and pizza slice then spending will be $ 45.75 for pizza slices and $37.50 for fries.

So, total spending this far is

\begin{gathered} =20.25+45.75+37.50 \\ =103.50 \end{gathered}

Now,

118.75-103.50=15.25

So, they can bought one more pizza slice.

Hence, they bought 3 fries and 4 pizza slices.
