Choose the equation below that represents the line passing through the point (1, -- 4) with a slope of

we know that

the equation of the line in point slope form is equal to

y-y1=m(x-x1)

in this problem we have

m

(x1,y1)=(1,-4)

substitute

y+4=m(x-1)

therefore

If the slope is 2 -------> y+4=2(x-1)

If the slope is f -------> y+4=f(x-1)

I need the value of the slope in the question to complete the answer
