For parallelograms, both pairs of opposite sides are equal in length

Therefore,

side AB = side CD

and side AD = side BC

For the first pair of sides

AB = CD

44 + 3x = 64 - x

3x + x = 64 - 44

4x = 20

x = 20/4

x = 5

For the second pair of sides

AD = BC

48 - 2y = 33 + y

-2y -y = 33 - 48

-3y = -15

y = -15/-3

y = 5

AB = 44 + 3x = 44 + 3(5)

AB = 44 + 15

AB= 59 cm

BC = 33 + y

BC = 33 + 5

BC = 38 cm

The answer is 59cm , 38 cm
