The equation system is:

\begin{gathered} 5x+6y=50 \\ x-6y=-26 \end{gathered}

So we add the equation to remove the variable y so:

\begin{gathered} 5x+x+6y-6y=50-26 \\ 6x=24 \\ x=(24)/(6) \\ x=4 \end{gathered}

Now we replace in the secon equation to find y so:

\begin{gathered} 4-6y=-26 \\ 30=6y \\ (30)/(6)=y \\ 5=y \end{gathered}

So the solution is:

(4,5)
