3x-6y = 18

To find the x intercept, set y = 0 and find x

3x- 6(0) =18

3x = 18

Divide by 3

3x/3 =18/3

x = 6

The x intercept is (6,0)

To find the y intercept, set x = 0 and find y

3(0) -6y = 18

-6y = 18

Divide by -6

-6y/-6 =18/-6

y = -3

The y intercept is (-3,0)

Plot the two points and connect them with a line
