Example of a system of linear equation with no solution:

y = 2x + 1

y = 2x +3

We have different ways of knowing that it has no solutions.

1) Thrrough direct method

When you solve using substitution or elimination method, you will end up with a false statement.

That is;

Using elimination, subtracting the first equation from the second equation

0 = 2

The above statement is false, hence, it has no solution.

Also, using the grapghical methode the two lines are always parallel, they do not intersect and hence has no solution.

2) You can make the equation to b
