The equations are,


\begin{gathered} y=-x+2 \\ y=-(1)/(4)x-1 \end{gathered}

To draw the lines on the graph first find the points on the graph,


\begin{gathered} y=-x+2 \\ x=0,y=2 \\ x=1,y=-1+2=1 \\ x=2,y=-2+2=0 \\ x=-1,y=1+2=3 \end{gathered}

And,


\begin{gathered} y=-(1)/(4)x-1 \\ x=0,y=-1 \\ x=2,y=-(1)/(2)-1=-1.5 \\ x=-2,y=(1)/(2)-1=(1)/(2)=0.5 \\ x=1,y=-(1)/(4)-1=-1.25 \end{gathered}

Plot the points on the graph.

From the graph, the lines intersect at the point (4,-2).
