Area of remaining region of the rectangle is,

Length of the rectangle (l)=8m

Breadth of the rectangle (b)=7m

Area of the rectangle is,


=l* b
=8*7=56m^2

Base of the right triangle=2m

Height of the right triangle=3m

Area of the right triangle is,


=(1)/(2)* b* h=(1)/(2)*2*3=3m^2

Area of the required shaded region is
