Answer: The confidence coefficient will be 1.96 (b.)

Explanation:

  • The confidence coefficient is calculated just like the z critical value.
  • Therefore, first calculate the z score

95% = 0.95 / 2

= 0.475

  • Then check from the normal curve of the z table...in the inside look for 0.475
  • And you will find it has been plotted against 1.96
