So we can state that this is an Arithmetic Sequence, whose common difference is 5, the first term is 4

2) Let's plug those pieces of information into the Explicit Formula for Arithmetic Sequences:


\begin{gathered} a_n=a_1+(n-1)d \\ a_(38)=4+(38-1)5 \\ a_(38)=4+185 \\ a_(38)=189 \end{gathered}

3) Therefore the 38th term is 189
