To find the probability that a student chosen randomly from the class passed the test:

The total number of students in class = 29 students.

The no. of students passed the test ⇒ 16+4 = 20 students.

Event A ⇒ a student chosen randomly from the class passed the test

P(A) = Number of students passed / Total students in the class

P(A) = 20/29

P(A) = 0.689 = 68.9%
