Let width be “w", length = “l" and perimeter = p

Then l = 3w-4

Perimeter = 2(w+l)

p = 2(w+3w-4) = 2w+6w-8 = 8w-8

Perimeter is 32…

8w-8 = 32

8w = 32+8

8w = 40

w = 5

l = (3×5)-4 = 11

Check… p = 2(5+11) = 2 × 16 = 32

Ans = length is 11

Hope it helps!
