Let width be “w", length = “l" and perimeter = p
Then l = 3w-4
Perimeter = 2(w+l)
p = 2(w+3w-4) = 2w+6w-8 = 8w-8
Perimeter is 32…
8w-8 = 32
8w = 32+8
8w = 40
w = 5
l = (3×5)-4 = 11
Check… p = 2(5+11) = 2 × 16 = 32
Ans = length is 11
