Equation: (304-17)/7

Answer: 41 students in each bus

Steps to solve: Subtract 17 from 304, then divide by 7

This is very simple actually;

So we have 304 students and 17 took a car. We're trying to find out the number of students on each bus so we can subtract 304-17=287. Now we know 287 students are taking the bus. Now we divide by 7 because all 7 buses were filled, 287/7=41 students in each bus
