The fourth amendment is for unreasonable search and seizures. Without it anyone could go through the belongings of another person without punishment or reason. With this items could be stolen, taken, or lost without knowing what could’ve happened. Search warrants would no longer be needed. This could bring an uprise in violence as we deserve a right to privacy.
