Given that the company charges $31.95 for the day and $0.35 per mile to rent a 10 foot truck.

(A) The aim is to find the cost of renting a 10 foot moving truck for a day.

Assume that m is the number of miles are driven and B is total cost.

B=31.95+0.35m

(B) The aim is to find the cost at 70 miles,

\begin{gathered} B(70)=31.95+0.35(70) \\ B(70)=31.95+24.5 \\ B(70)=56.45(\text{Dollar)} \\ B(70)\approx56(Dollar) \end{gathered}

(C) The aim is to find x if B is 150.

\begin{gathered} B=31.95+0.35x \\ 150=31.95+0.35x \\ 0.35x=150-31.95 \\ 0.35x=118.05 \\ x=337.28 \\ x=337 \end{gathered}
