a = 8

you can do it different ways; i did it that it shows 50° already on one side. and it’s a right angle. so the other side is 40°. so you do 6a - 8 = 40 and solve and you get 8! hopefully it helps!

50 + (6a-8) = 90\\\\\implies 6a -8=90-50=40\\\\\implies 6a = 40 +8 = 48\\\\\implies a = (48)/(6) =8
