Weight = (mass) x (acceleration of gravity).

On Earth, acceleration of gravity = 9.8 m/s² (rounded)

On Earth, 2.2kg of mass weighs (2.2kg) x (9.8 m/s²) = 21.6kg-m/s² = 21.6 Newtons.

(That's about 4.85 pounds.)
