Part a.

From the given table, there are 34+32=66 boys surveyed. Then, the probability of get a boy is given by

P(boy)=(66)/(150)=0.44

where 150 is the total number of students surveyed. In percentage, this last result is equivalent to

0.44*100\text{ \% = 44 \%}

So, What percentage of the students are boys? Answer: 44 %

Part b.

From the given table, there are 58+32 = 90 students watching TV. Then, the probability to get a student who watches TV is given by

P(\text{ watch TV\rparen=}(90)/(150)=0.6

In percentage, this last result is equal to

0.6*100\text{ \%=60 \%}

So, What percentage of the students prefer watching TV? Answer: 60%
