1)Blood flows from the atria to the ventricles via a pathway from the right segment (deoxygenated blood) to the left side (oxygenated blood) the pathway can be summarised as follows
Right atrium (from venacava)>right ventricle >lungs>left atrium >left ventricle
2) Arteries-narrow lumen, thick elastic walls (high blood pressure)
Veins-wide lumens, thin inelastic walls (low blood pressure)
6) Red blood cells-carry oxygen which combines with heamoglobin in them to form oxyhaemoglobin for respiration
White blood cells-prevents the entry of pathogens and harmful microorganisms either by releasing antibodies or engulfing them (phagocytosis)
9) Pulmonary usually involves the blood pathway and to and from the lungs usually at a lower pressure whilst systemic circulation is the movement of blood to and from body cells at a higher pressure
10) helps to control the internal body temperature via dilation or constriction which can maximise or minimise heat loss depending on the heat change
8) Since the blood type O is recessive thereby many blood types present the antigen O
7) Arteries are carrying blood at high pressures and as a result when you push your finger against them the blood pressure builds up whereas veins carry blood at a much lower pressure
5.Unhealthy diet, lack of physical activity, stress, smoking, age
Tried to answer as much as I can lol... hope it helps
