To calculate (f-g)(x) we simply subtract g from f and the organize the powers in descending order

we get

(f-g)(x)=x^2-13x+30-(x-3)=x^2-13x-x+30+3=x^2-14x+33

So (f-g)(x) = x^2-14x+33
