Explanation:

First let's isolate y so that the equation is in slope intercept form , y = mx + b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

2x + 3y = 12

subtract 2x from both sides

3y = -2x + 12

divide both sides by 3

y = -2/3 + 4

the y intercept is at (0,4) as 4 takes the spot of b which is the y intercept.

To find the x intercept we set y to 0 and solve for x

y = -2/3x + 4

y = 0

0 = -2/3x + 4

subtract 4 from both sides

-4 = -2/3x

divide both sides by -2/3

6 = x

the x intercept is at (6,0)

To graph we put a point at (6,0) as well as (0,4)

We then draw a line through the points.

I recommend you use a ruler.

It should look something like the graph in the attached image.
