The easiest way to solve this is to write the line in slope-intercept form.

The slope intercept is of the form:

y=ax+b

Where a is the slope of the line, any lines that ahve the same slope are parallel.

Then, we solve for y the equation of the line given:

\begin{gathered} 8x-7y=35 \\ 7y=8x-35 \\ y=(8)/(7)x-5 \end{gathered}

The slope of the line in the problem is 8/7. Then if we look at the options, the only one that has a slope of 8/7 is option B, which is the correct answer.
