We will have the following:

1.

y=-(x+1)^3

Thus:

x=-(y+1)^3\Rightarrow y=-\sqrt[3]{x}-1

So, g(n) is not the inverse function.

2.

y=(-16+x)/(4)

Thus:

x=(-16+y)/(4)\Rightarrow y=4x+16

So, g(n) is the inverse function.
