Geometric Sequence


\begin{gathered} a_n=a_1\cdot r^(n-1) \\ \end{gathered}

Where:


\begin{gathered} a_n=n^(th)\text{ term} \\ a_1=first^{}\text{ term} \\ r=\text{ common ratio} \end{gathered}
an=40\cdot\sqrt[]{2}^(n-1)

Therefore


a_1=40
r=\sqrt[]{2}

Answer: Letter B
