Jerome wants to multiply the amount of water and the amount of drink mix by the same amount.

If the same number is multiplied with both the amount of water and the amount of drink mix, the water to drink mix rationwill remain the same.

The original amount of water = 8

The original amount of drink mix = 3

Ratio of water to drink mix = 8 / 3

To keep the ratio the same, the same number has to multiply both the numerator and the denominator

a) The table is properly filled. All the numbers in the boxes are correct.

b) Jerome's sister is correct.

(8)/(3)=(16)/(6)=(24)/(9)=(32)/(12)
