The equation is:

y=|-8x+20|

This equation is expressend as an absolute value, which means that its solution can be either positive or negative.

Positive:

y=-8x+20

Negative:

\begin{gathered} -y=-8x+20 \\ y=8x-20 \end{gathered}

This function is V shaped, this means that the positive and negative lines look as if they were reflections with vertex in the x-intercept.

If you calculate the x-intercept for both of them you'll see that:

\begin{gathered} 1)0=-8x+20 \\ -8x=-20 \\ x=-(20)/(-8) \\ x=(5)/(2) \\ 2)0=8x-20 \\ 8x=20 \\ x=(5)/(2) \end{gathered}

Both line have the same x-intercept in point (5/2,0)

The range of both lines is all positie values, so it opens upwards.

The positive line has y-intercept (0,20) and the negative line no y-intercept

Is a vertical reflaction but ot over the y-axis, that is dtermined by the x-intercept.

The correct option is B.
