please help, im not looking for the answer to this but im asking how many solutions are in 10(x + 4) – 3 = 14x + 1

10(x + 4) - 3 = 14x + 1 \\ 10x + 40 - 3 = 14x + 1 \\ 10x - 14x = - 37 + 1 \\ - 4x = - 36(divide \: by \: - 4 \: both \: sides) \\ x = 9
