Why did early settlers in North Carolina select the area around the Albemarle Sound to live?

o It had large cities and shops with cheap goods.
o It had free land, free homes, and rich natural resources,
o It was inhabited by friendly Native Americans and low taxes.
o It was rich in natural resources and had plentiful water for shipping goods.

I think the answer could be
D. It was rich in natural resources and had plentiful water for shipping goods.
Because they had to lease the land from the rich, so they could build their life and homes!
I’m sorry if this isnt right T-T
