a) The range is the set of all values of y that satisfies the function. On the graph, it is between the highest value of y on the graph and the lowest value of y on the graph. Looking at the graph,

minimum point = - ∞

maximum point = 4

Range = (- ∞, 4]

b) The domain is the set of all values of x that satisfies the function. On the graph, it is between the highest value of x on the lft graph and the lowest value of x on the graph. Looking at the graph,

minimum point = - ∞

maximum point = 6

Domain = (- ∞, 6]

c) f(- 2) = 4

d) f(x) = 0 at x = - 4 and x = 0

e) The intervals on which f(x) is decreasing is

From x = - 2 to x = 0

f) The minimum is the lowest point on the graph. Thus, there is a relative minimum at

x = 0
